After 18 years of practice on the Westbank, Dr. Bostick founded Metairie Orthopedics & Sports Medicine with a vision to deliver state-of-the-art care for a wide range of orthopedic conditions. Ryan Charles Roubion, M.D.

Dr. Ryan Roubion is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine at Metairie Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. With extensive experience in both non-operative and surgical treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, he is a trusted specialist dedicated to helping patients return to optimal function.

Dr. Roubion’s expertise includes arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee, as well as joint replacement surgery and fracture care. He is committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care with a focus on long-term outcomes and recovery.

Born and raised in Destrehan, Louisiana, Dr. Roubion attended Brother Martin High School before earning his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University, graduating cum laude. During his time at LSU, he was a four-time letter winner as a javelin thrower on the LSU Track and Field team. He went on to receive his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine, where he also completed his orthopedic surgery residency.

Dr. Roubion further advanced his training through fellowship education in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at the Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Jackson, Mississippi, and the Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine.

His dedication to the field is reflected in numerous publications on orthopedic topics, as well as multiple awards recognizing scholarship and professionalism. Kristina Vidrine, PA-C

Kristina Vidrine, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant and a vital member of the Metairie Orthopedics & Sports Medicine team. With more than 13 years of experience working alongside Dr. Bostick, she plays an integral role in delivering high-quality orthopedic and sports medicine care.

A native of Opelousas, Louisiana, Kristina was a standout three-sport athlete in high school. After experiencing a knee injury that required surgery and rehabilitation, she discovered the Physician Assistant profession—an experience that sparked her passion for orthopedics.

Kristina earned her Bachelor of Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She went on to complete her Master of Medical Science in Physician Associate Studies at Our Lady of the Lake College’s Physician Assistant Program. She later relocated to Metairie, which she now calls home.

In her role, Kristina manages surgical scheduling, evaluates and treats patients in the clinic, assists in the operating room, and is known for going the extra mile to ensure patients receive the care and attention they need throughout their treatment journey.

She maintains professional affiliations with the American Academy of Physician Associates, Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants, Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery, and the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association.
